Poached plums: 3 plums (halved and stone removed) 125ml orange juice half tsp cinnamon 2 tbsp maple syrup
Porridge: 1 cup oats 1 cup dairy-free milk (I used oat milk) 1 cup water
For the poached plums, place the orange juice, cinnamon and maple syrup into a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Once bubbling, add your plums flat side down and place the lid one the saucepan.
Cook on a medium heat for 10 minutes until the plums are completely softened.
Take off the heat and set aside while you make the porridge. Place your oats, milk and water in a saucepan over a medium heat and cook until thickened, stir frequently to ensure creaminess.
Serve your porridge with 3 poached plums each and some of that delicious plum syrup! Enjoy! x
